AVDERTISEMENT

 Applications on plain papers are hereby  invited from the eligible candidates who are bonafide Indian citizens and  permanent residents of Tripura for filling up the following vacant posts under Tripura Forest Development & Plantation Corporation Limited, Agartala, Tripura (W) on Fixed pay in the scale of Rs.5000-10300/-.

 Eligibility

1. Educational qualification: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognized university with at least one of the following subject:

Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer application/ Computer science,  Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture,  Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Veterinary Science, Zoology or Engineering in any of the discipline viz Civil ,Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical,  Agriculture, Computer etc.

2. Minimum physical standard should be as follows:-

3. The candidates will have to pass a walking test consisting of 25km for males and   16 km for females, to be covered within 4 (four) hours.

4. Age:   Minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years on the date of application for the post.

5. Mode of selection

i. Written test - 100 marks covering General Knowledge & General English.

ii. Interview - 50 marks (Candidates for interview/personality test will be short listed on the basis of the performance in the written test).

iii. It will be mandatory to pass the walking test and minimum physical standard as mentioned in item no.2 & 3 above.

iv. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained from written test and interview/personality test.

v. On selection candidates will have to undergo 2(two) years Ranger’s Course Training outside the state and to complete the training successfully.

                         The application will be received in the O/O the Managing Director, TFDPC Limited (near Governor House), PO. Abhoynagar, Agartala, Tripura (W), Pin-799005 on working days till 11^th August, 2008.  Applications can also be sent by post/speed post or by currier so as to reach this office latest by11th August, 2008. Application received after the closing date will not be entertained.

7. Date of Written test etc. will be informed in due course.  

8. Two recent passport size photographs duly attested by the Gazetted officer – one is to be affixed on application form & another one is to be produced along with the application form. 

9. Attested true/Xerox copies of certificates should be submitted along with the application in respect of Permanent residence certificate/nationality/educational qualifications/date of birth/, SC/ST certificate, employment exchange registration card and previous experience if any.

10. The selected candidate will be liable to serve any where in Tripura. 

11. The no of vacancies is subject to increase or decrease. 

12. The applicant shall be required to produce all the original certificates at the time of Interview.

13. No TA/DA will be allowed for attending written test/Interview. 

14. Authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.  

                   The application incomplete in any form or defective or containing statement which are incorrect or false or suppression of facts is liable to be rejected. No correspondence or quarries from applicants will be entertained in this connection.  Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.

                   Candidates employed under Government/Public sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel. However, they may submit advance copy of application along with all documents.
